Houston we have a boy!!! This weekend my little sisters and I were honored to style and coordinate my sister's baby shower! I wouldn’t be surprised if every expecting mother around asked for an outer space themed shower after seeing this. As a family who is new to the whole boy thing we felt the outer space theme brought just the right amount of sparkle and the blues hues, wicker, stars, and moons tied in the perfect boy feel.
If blues and stars are your thing you will find this outer spaced themed shower absolutely captivating. We know we do! But that’s not all...we collaborated with some pretty nifty local businesses that I think you'll want to meet for your next party!
Let's chat about our drink setup! We found the most stunning wicker shelf at Vendors Village in Leitchfield, KY and added textured drinking glasses that we purchased at the local Dollar Tree. We topped the glasses off with acrylic glittered star drink stirrers and custom acrylic engraved drink toppers made by 502 Engravings! They gave the shower the perfect personal touch! They doubled as a cute keepsake for your guests, but also allowed them to keep track of their drinking glasses. The shower was done in a mix and mingle style so our guests didn't sit at a table they roamed around the room.
Let's talk about the star of the treat table! Guests raved and admired this stunning cake the entire duration of the shower. The caked was baked by Beautiful Things Bakery. This three layer chocolate cake with vanilla frosting not only sat as the main focal point of our treat table, the sweet creamy frosting had all the guests coming back for seconds.
Every guest of honor deserves the perfect throne! I paired our peacock chair with a custom balloon install, roughly 20 feet of garland, 5 mylar balloons, and 3 latex Saturn balloons. The colors we used were navy, retro storm, white gold, and double stuffed pale blue. This setup gave us the perfect backdrop for opening gifts, but also photos with the mother to be!

No party is complete without florals! The best florals are always locally grown and River Blossoms Flower Farm knocked it out of the galaxy with this bundle of flowers. When ordering we mentioned we wanted to bring in colors to make you think of planets and rockets! Madison did just that with these lovely blooms.
A party would not be complete without decorations! Celebration & Co. is our secret weapon for all party decor! Jessica is always bringing our Pinterest dreams to life in the papers, colors, and textures needed. She made the cute banner above our treat table, the stunning star garlands hanging above our drink shelf, and the sky themed straws.
